Project Architect Stewart Roberts was given the opportunity to design the new 22,000 sq ft library and senior center for Townsend, MA as a result of a benefactor who gifted the land, the construction of the entire facility and all of its furnishings. The new library was designed with lots of daylight and high vaulted ceilings.

Stu Roberts said, “We looked at a number of methods to tame the harsh reverberation coming off the barrel vaulted ceilings.
