An acoustical firm was hired to recommend a product that would provide the noise reduction and light reflectivity needed for a comfortable environment. They chose K-13 and a 1 inch application of K-13 white was applied to the metal deck. The resilient fibers of K-13 absorb sound energy instead of reflecting it, reducing reverberation time and making speech more intelligible, while exposing an attractive ceiling.
No matter what your design requirements or budget constraints, K-13 can be customized to meet your needs. For new construction or renovation projects, ICC’s family of products offer the ideal ceiling treatment for all of your thermal and acoustical needs. |
